Who offers the Bank One card product line? [Extracted from BankOne.com Aug 29, 2004] Bank One is part of the new JPMorgan Chase created on July 1, 2004 upon completion of the holding company merger between J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. and Bank One Corporation. The mergers of the broker/dealer, credit card companies, and lead banks will be completed over the next nine months. JPMorgan Chase has assets of approximately $1.1 trillion and operations in more than 50 countries.

How long does it take to find out if I am approved? In most cases, depending on your credit record, issuers will give you a decision within 2 minutes after submitting your application. Otherwise, please allow up to 2 weeks to find out your approval status by postal mail.

What credit rating do I need to obtain approval for these offers? We recommend that you have a credit score of at least 600 to obtain approval. People with credit scores of 599 and under should go to the credit cards for poor credit ratings section.

What interest rate or terms will the issuer offer me? Applications are almost always considered on a case-by-case basis. Your profile and credit report and/or score will help determine rates that card issuers can issue you.

When will I receive my card? Please allow at least 10 business days after approval for a card to be received by mail. We also recommend viewing the issuer's terms and conditions for further information.

Is my credit report or score used in the approval process? In almost all cases, yes. We estimate that 95% of card issuers for major credit cards obtain your credit report and score before considering a credit card issuance.

I do not know my score, how can I obtain this? You can either request your report by mail (normally does not include your FICO score) or order a full credit report and/or score on-line. We strongly urge every consumer to obtain a credit report annually to ensure accuracy of data reported to the 3 major credit bureaus, Experian, Equifax and Trans Union.

My question was not listed here, how can I get help? Please go to our help and general frequently asked questions, contact customer service or contact Bank One after clicking on "Online application" for any of the Bank One Credit Cards.
